Edward Carbutt is an IT Service Management (ITSM) professional and strategic advisor with over 25 years of experience. With a deep understanding of IT Governance, he excels in guiding organizations to align their IT services with business goals. Edward is well-versed in the ITIL framework and ISO/IEC 20000 standards. He is an ITIL Practitioner, ITIL Service Manager, ITIL Trainer, and ISO/IEC 20000 Consultant. His passion for service improvement and his ability to demystify complex concepts into practical applications have garnered high acclaim in the industry.
Before founding Revitilize Consulting (Pty) Ltd in 2008, operating as Marval Africa, Edward was a founding member of Quintica SA, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and growing the company’s presence in the ITSM space. At Marval Africa, he significantly contributed to expanding the Marval brand across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. In 2018, Edward co-founded Rejea Group (Pty) Ltd to offer comprehensive IT Governance solutions, including Enterprise Service Management (ESM), ITSM, Cyber Security, and Risk Management. Throughout his career, Edward has spearheaded over 50 ITSM projects, showcasing his strategic insight and unwavering commitment to enhancing service delivery and organizational resilience. In recognition of his contributions to the field, Edward was awarded the itSMF SA Lifetime Award.
Louis Stanford is a distinguished Principal Consultant renowned for his expertise in IT Service Management, IT Governance, and Risk and Compliance Management. As a key figure at ServiceFlow, closely associated with Rejea Group, Louis brings extensive experience and strategic insight to the forefront. His career spans over 30 years, during which he has demonstrated a deep understanding of industry best practices and a proactive approach to solving complex challenges in IT service delivery and governance.
Louis’s professional journey is marked by a commitment to driving organizational excellence through tailored solutions that align IT strategies with business objectives. His role involves advising clients on optimizing service management processes, enhancing governance frameworks, and effectively managing risks and compliance requirements. Before joining Rejea Group, Richard served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Absa Bank. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the bank’s cyber and information security strategies. Richard’s deep insights into cyber and information security were closely linked to IT governance, ensuring that the bank’s IT infrastructure was robust, compliant, and aligned with overall business objectives. His forward-thinking approach and innovative solutions significantly enhanced organizational security and resilience, fortifying the bank’s defences against emerging threats and ensuring the protection of critical data.
Lehuka Maseng is a seasoned technology practitioner and former Chief Information Officer of FNB Botswana, with a robust background in IT governance, service delivery, and strategic IT intent. In his role as CIO, he was instrumental in establishing governance frameworks that aligned technology operations with business objectives, regulatory standards, and risk management practices. Leveraging models like ITIL and COBIT, he ensured that FNB Botswana’s IT infrastructure supported corporate goals while maintaining compliance with local and international regulations.
Known for his forward-thinking approach, Lehuka drove data management process maturity, operational efficiency, and customer-focused solutions within the banking services sector.
